"All too often, only the negative comments get voiced, so when someone
does something above and beyond the call of duty, I can not let it go
unnoticed.
It is with the utmost gratitude that I would like to commend Thea Smillie.
From the very first day that my husband and I stopped "just to take
a look at the co-ops" (with absolutely no intention to buy, I might
add), Thea took the time to explain every detail about a cooperative,
because we had no knowledge whatsoever of how they are run. In addition,
she made it perfectly clear that she would do anything to help whenever
possible.
Thea was always willing to stay late (because my husband and I could not
meet her until after 6:00 pm during the week), she responded to our requests
immediately, and if she did not know the answer to something, she would
always check and get back to me the very next day.
When it got closer to our closing date, Thea was always available to assist
with the inspections, be available for the appraisers, make sure that
all the repairs were being completed on time. Not only were the repairs
completed on time, but the workmanship is excellent!
Now that we are settling in. Thea continues to be wonderful'. I am sure
that with over 2170 units in the development, I am not the only one who
calls with questions. Yet, when I call, Thea and the rest of the staff
- never seems to mind checking this problem, or offering advise, or answering
our 1001 questions- is not only cheerful, but always willing to help!
My husband and I are very happy with the choice we have made for our first
home, not only is it beautiful, but the people on the staff make it a
pleasant place for everyone to live"!
